It is a pleasure to reflect on the power of positive innovation and the pursuit of meaningful goals, which have always been central to my career. Over my 30 years in business, I’ve learned that innovation in environmental protection and technology, particularly in the renewable energy and circular economy spaces, thrives regardless of political agendas. Temporary obstacles may arise, but the momentum of technological progress and human ingenuity ultimately prevails.
My journey began as a Corporate Attorney, but I soon transitioned into entrepreneurship, focusing on disruptive applications in renewable energy and waste management. Since 2016, I’ve dedicated myself to emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence, co-founding startups that have become leading businesses. One such venture is Mangrovia Blockchain Solutions (MBS), a group of companies recognised by Gartner as one of the top ten global leaders in IT, digital and cybersecurity solutions. With nearly 60 professionals, MBS serves critical sectors like insurance, banking, energy and healthcare, driving innovation that benefits humanity.

This success drives a commitment to creating net advantages for society—developing cleaner, safer and more efficient ways to solve problems. This purpose has guided me since my early days as a law graduate in Milan, through my master’s program at Boston University and during my legal career in London, New York and Shanghai. Aligning my work with a meaningful mission has been complex but rewarding.
One of MBS’s most exciting projects involves implementing blockchain and AI to federate 40 major hospitals, enabling secure and efficient information exchange. This initiative fosters shared learning, improves diagnosis accuracy, and streamlines patient care processes. By enhancing data analysis and best practices, we aim to revolutionise healthcare delivery, making it faster, more accurate and more patient-centric. This noble purpose exemplifies the transformative potential of technology.
I am passionate about clean energy solutions and energy storage in the energy sector. One groundbreaking project focuses on treating industrial and water treatment sludge with unprecedented efficiency. This process generates syngas, powering the system and creating a net-zero circular economy. The technology recycles 95 percent of the water, removes microplastics and PFAS and extracts valuable materials like nitrates and phosphates for fertilisers. This innovation not only addresses waste management but also contributes to sustainable agriculture.
These projects inspire me because they represent success in their highest form—creating meaningful impact beyond financial gain. Success is never easy, but I believe in pursuing the “high road,” thinking big and trusting in our ability to achieve something extraordinary.
